What does Rap Mean to me?

 What Does Rap Mean to Me?                                    By: Shotty Mills                                                           Rap to me is much more than just rhythm and poetry. On a much a more profound level: rap is is my escape from the reality. We all seek to escape reality without realizing we live in our own reality. But when I rap, I am truly expressing my reality. As a young rapper growing, I wasn’t always known to be smartest. But after years of honing my craft over a prolonged period of time. My whole perspective of life changed drastically, and my life started benefiting.                                                                 Now with only two weeks until my first show. I feel like my dreams and music career are on the right track. Rightfully so, prior to this I spent countless sleepless nights writing rap lyrics. When you truly want something, you will never limit yourself. If you don’t limit yourself eventually the universe will make it come into fruition. And that’s what was revealed to me. The moral of the story is: never sell yourself short of what you can achieve.
