The one and only "Shotty Mills" has released his new single "Mixed Emotions". This song depicts the idea of the struggles that Shotty had encountered growing up in his household. These struggles became pertinent and ultimately changed the scenery of his life. Thus, through Shotty's mixed emotions he is ultimately aiming to the color the world around him. In a pandemic world everyone is struggling to find their way, and stand their ground emotionally. We all have emotions that seemingly bottle up inside all of us. But how we overcome these emotions is solely based on our perception of our emotions that we experience. And through these emotional experiences we find ways to recourse and regain our traction within our lifetime. Sometimes the emotions will try to come to test against you. But as Shotty quotes in his track "All the constant emotions are mixing me up, And apart of me is mixed like my feelings are unfelt. This entails the idea of mixed emotions can come to dominate your reality. If you fail to fend off the emotions that arise within the scope of your mind. 

In a sense the much broader message behind this song is that too never let your emotions abort your ship. Since the truth of your emotions will always lie is how you choose to not sink your ship. Similarly, with everyone in this pandemic world. We all get mixed in our own thoughts, and judge our inner critic. But that inner critic that speaks to us can be a dust cloud. A dust cloud that you can choose to chip away from the awry. The intention of this track was meant to draw an audience that struggles to cope with their emotions. Shotty wanted to write something that would resonate well with his audience. And this what Shotty achieved through this particular track.
