Preparing for your First Show/Gig

When it comes to preparing for your first upcoming show. You have to keep numerous things in mind in order to have a successful set. Just remember that you are performing in front of the crowd. In all honesty the best technique, I would recommend coming into your first show full aware of the setting of the performance. It's important that you are mentally prepared for your first upcoming show. To be honest there's a huge difference between performing on stage and recording in the booth. When you are recording in the booth, I just feel that there's a lot less pressure held on your shoulders. But performing on a stage requires you expend a lot more of your energy in order to elicit more of a particular feeling to a crowd. In other words, the crowd will perceive you based on how express that feeling towards them. And sometimes it's not all just cut and cry. Sometimes it will even feel like it's cut to the chase.
I remember that exhilarating feeling of finally getting up to perform for the first time. Blood rushed through me, and I suddenly started to feel the rush to run even deeper. All around me I heard the screams and chants of me finally getting up to perform on stage. As I grabbed the mic my hands started to shake a little like I had tremors. But I knew that I was mentally prepared for this show coming in.
