On Saturday July 24th Shotty Mills will be performing at first show in company of an array of talented artists. Shotty has always dreamed of performing in front of a crowd. And for him to perform at Ascend Music Festival sends jitters and nerves to his every fiber. This music festival will be a huge turnout with a wide range of artists from up and coming bands. As well as other hip hop artists within the Alberta hip hop industry. This highly touted music festival, includes another hip hop artist from Drayton known as Chad L.E McGhie. As a host of this up and coming music festival in Wimborne, Alberta. Recently, Chad L.E McGhie released his "Problem Smoking" album. Chad, brings a diverse background in music by edging bars with catchy rhymes and catchy hooks. 
And now Shotty Mills an up and coming hip hop artists out of Drayton Valley has been gifted the opportunity to perform. The venue that this concert will be held at is called Boom Box Farms. This venue is quite snazzy, and with the wide range of artists and bands performs. This night of the concert is set to be a jam-packed and fun filled festival.
